My Story

I'm Stephen, a professional drummer and Norwich woodworker passionate to create good-looking items from timber that would normally be heading towards the landfill, whether that be unloved furniture or timber offcuts. As a keen recycler and craftsman it's a joy to know good quality "single use" woods like timber frames and door supports are one less thing going to waste and has new life in many of my custom and upcycled projects such as garden gates, coffee tables, log cabin birdhouses and chopping boards (with a bevel edge and juice groove). Speaking of groove, in 2023 my two passions collided and the Watson Woodworks Cajón (ka-hon) box drum was born!
